In conjunction with Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month this March, we take this opportunity to raise awareness and celebrate the strength, resilience, and determination of individuals living with cerebral palsy.
This year, we are honoured to feature Mr. Ting Fong, a passionate cerebral palsy advocate, whose life journey is both inspiring and deeply moving.
In this special interview, Mr. Ting Fong shares his personal journey — a story shaped by challenges, perseverance, and unwavering strength.
Despite living with cerebral palsy, his intellectual abilities remain strong, and he has achieved remarkable success in education. However, like many individuals with CP, he has faced:
Social rejection and misunderstanding
Broken promises and limited opportunities
Barriers created not by disability, but by society
Yet, instead of giving up, he chose to rise, speak up, and advocate — not only for himself, but for the entire cerebral palsy community
Mr. Ting Fong carries a strong and meaningful message:
“We do not need pity. We need opportunities.”
His journey reminds us that individuals with cerebral palsy are not defined by their limitations, but by their abilities, potential, and determination.
