It was a great honour to be invited as a speaker at the book launch of "100 Letters to Kang Gor – Love Is Growing Up with You."
The evening was more than a celebration of a new book—it was a heartfelt gathering filled with love, hope, and the shared belief that every child deserves understanding, acceptance, and unwavering support.
I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the author and family for bringing this meaningful book to life. Through their personal journey, they have transformed their experiences into words that will undoubtedly inspire, comfort, and encourage countless families walking similar paths.
As a medical doctor working closely with children with autism and special needs, I have had the privilege of witnessing both the challenges and extraordinary resilience of these families. This book beautifully reminds us that love is not measured by how quickly a child grows or achieves milestones, but by the patience, faith, and unconditional support we give every step of the way.
I am grateful to have shared the stage with passionate advocates, educators, parents, and supporters who continue to champion inclusion and create a more compassionate society for individuals with special needs.
My sincere appreciation goes to the organising team for the kind invitation and for hosting such a meaningful event. It was truly inspiring to see so many family members, friends, readers, professionals, and community supporters coming together to celebrate this remarkable milestone.
I hope this book will continue to touch hearts, inspire hope, and remind every family that they are never alone on this journey. Together, through understanding, collaboration, and compassion, we can build a future where every child is valued, accepted, and empowered to reach their fullest potential.
