14th Walk for Autism 2026 – Together, We Light Up the Stars 🌟 - 16th August 2026
On 16 August 2026, we gathered once again at Kota A’Famosa, Bandar Hilir, Melaka for the 14th Walk for Autism, organised by Persatuan Kanner Melaka, with this year’s theme “Light Up the Stars.”
This year’s walk became especially memorable because of the rain. 🌧️
Despite the wet weather, our families, children, volunteers, supporters and friends continued to show up and walk together. Umbrellas came out, shirts got wet, but the smiles and spirit remained strong.
The rain did not stop us.

My heartfelt appreciation goes to everyone who joined and supported the 14th Walk for Autism.
Thank you to all the families and children, donors and sponsors, volunteers, teachers and trainees, committee members, supporting organisations and members of the public who stood together with us despite the weather.
Your presence and support made the day truly meaningful.
The support received through donations and T-shirt proceeds also contributes towards the Kanner Sheltered Employment Centre in Durian Tunggal, helping to create more opportunities for our special needs young adults as they move towards greater independence and meaningful participation in the community.
Rain or Shine, We Walk Together ❤️
The 14th Walk for Autism was not simply about completing a walk. It represented acceptance, inclusion, support and the strength of a community coming together.
The rain may have changed our morning, but it never changed our purpose.
